Quality & Compatibility
Colour fidelity depends on the PDF's colour-management features. PDF embeds ICC profiles so print houses receive the exact colours; older document formats may clip wide-gamut AVIF material to sRGB.
Tips for Best Results
- When the AVIF contains sensitive information (IDs, bank statements), convert to PDF and then run the PDF through a redaction tool rather than editing the original image.
- For batch operations, upload a ZIP of many AVIF images and the pipeline will emit one PDF per image (or a single combined PDF if you toggle "merge" in Advanced).
- Set Title and Author in Advanced before download so your document management system indexes the PDF correctly.

Uploads run over HTTPS, files are processed in isolated containers, and both the source AVIF and the PDF output are auto-deleted within two hours. No account is required, file contents are never logged, and KaijuConverter does not use uploads for AI training. The paid plan adds a signable data-processing agreement for regulated workflows.
