Quality & Compatibility
The output PNG carries no alpha channel for slide content because PowerPoint slides have an opaque background by default — the PNG will be 24-bit RGB, not 32-bit RGBA, unless the source slide uses a transparent background (a setting available in newer PPTX but absent in legacy PPT binary format). Bit depth is 8 bits per channel, giving 16.7 million colors — sufficient for any theme gradient or photo embedded in a slide. Tips for Best Results
- Export one slide at a time when you only need a subset — submitting the full deck converts every slide to a separate PNG, and you then need to pick the frame you want from the batch.
- If your slide has a transparent background set in PowerPoint's slide size dialog, confirm the converter supports RGBA PNG output before uploading; most renderers default to a white fill even when the PPTX declares no background color.
